Native port of BattleTanx: Global Assault (Nintendo 64) for Windows and Linux, built on its completed decompilation. You need your own USA Rev 0 ROM.
This repository is a native port of BattleTanx: Global Assault built from the game's completed decompilation. On Windows it runs with RT64 and Direct3D 12, with SDL2 audio and keyboard and controller support; on Linux it uses RT64's Vulkan backend. It uses N64Recomp, RSPRecomp, N64ModernRuntime and RT64 and is not an emulator.
According to the README, it has been played through the original menus into campaign gameplay. Validation of split-screen multiplayer and the game-specific HUD is not yet complete. You must provide your own ROM at launch.
If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a console emulator: see emulators and its install and setup guide.
