RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 on PC: OpenRCT2

OpenRCT2 is an open-source reimplementation of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, the construction and management game that simulates running an amusement park. The project publishes stable and development builds, is released under the GPL-3.0 license and has an active Discord community with channels for players, developers and translation.

It is an engine: to play you need the files from your original copy of the game. GigaROM hosts neither the engine nor the game; the download comes from the official page.

• Windows, Linux, macOS or Android.
• Your own original copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (the game files).

1. Download the latest release from the official page (“Go to official project” button) or from openrct2.io.
2. Install it and point it to the folder with your original copy when the program asks.
3. Open OpenRCT2 and play; community guides cover mods and assets.

• It needs the original game’s files to work.
• Development builds bring new features that may be less stable.
