Killzone (PS2, 2004) recompiled with PS2Recomp as a native Windows program, with mouse and keyboard and 120+ fps. Alpha version; you need your USA image.
This is a native Windows port of Killzone (PlayStation 2, 2004). The game's code is recompiled to C++ with PS2Recomp, so it runs as a PC program with mouse and keyboard aim, high frame rates and higher resolution. It is not an emulator and it does not include any game assets: you must provide the data from your own copy. It is not affiliated with Sony or Guerrilla Games.
The published releases are called "alpha" (0.1.4 is from October 2026). Settings are stored in killzone.ini and saves next to the executable. It supports ultrawide, intro skip and controllers with the original PS2 layout.
killzone.exe and, in the launcher, browse to your Killzone .iso.If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a PlayStation 2 emulator: PCSX2 and its install and setup guide.
