Crackdown (Xbox 360) statically recompiled as a native port for Windows and, experimentally, Linux and Steam Deck. You need your exact original disc, without a title update.
Crackdown Recompiled is a native PC recompilation of Crackdown (Xbox 360) with enhanced graphics, high frame rates, modern display support, keyboard and mouse, a full launcher, offline achievements and language selection. It runs natively on Windows (Direct3D 12) and, experimentally, on Linux and Steam Deck with Vulkan, with no Proton or Wine.
It is not an emulator and it does not include any game assets: you must provide the data from your own copy. It offers render resolution up to 4x, aspect ratios from 16:10 to 32:9 and a launcher that checks every file on your disc against a table for the exact version it supports.
crackdown.exe; on the Play page click "Install from disc image…" (or "Install from folder…") and pick your disc.If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a Microsoft Xbox 360 emulator: xenia and its install and setup guide.
