Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) statically recompiled as a native program for Windows and Linux, with up to 4K. Work in progress; you need your USA disc.
Brawl Recompiled is a native port of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii, 2008) made by statically recompiling the game's PowerPC code (main.dol and its 126 .rel modules) to C++ with WiiCompiled. There is no emulator: the game runs as a Windows program.
It is a work in progress. According to the README, boot, saves, the menus tested so far, VS battles, the attract demos, Classic mode's start and the Subspace Emissary's opening work today, and Project+ and other mods load from a virtual SD card. It offers up to 4K, 120 fps interpolation, gamepads as GameCube controllers and a launcher that installs the game from your disc image. It is not an emulator and it does not include any game assets: you must provide the data from your own copy.
If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a Nintendo Wii emulator: Dolphin and its install and setup guide.
