Star Fox 64 statically recompiled into a native PC port with mod support, widescreen and high frame rates. It is not an emulator and you need your own copy of the game.
Starfox 64: Recompiled is a community project that uses N64: Recompiled to turn the code of Star Fox 64 into a native PC program. Rendering is done by RT64, which enables improvements such as high frame rates and widescreen. According to the project, it was developed alongside Starship and the two are sibling projects that evolve independently.
The repository and its releases contain no game assets: you need your own copy. GigaROM hosts neither the port nor the game; the download comes from the project’s official page.
If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a console emulator: see emulators and its install and setup guide.
