An open-source open-world RPG engine that lets you play Morrowind with improved graphics and interface. You need to own the original game.
OpenMW is an open-source open-world RPG engine that supports playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind by Bethesda Softworks. It also ships OpenMW-CS, a replacement for the original Construction Set, and adds improvements such as better graphics and user interfaces. It is released under the GPLv3.
According to the project, the main quests of Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon are completable and problems in side quests are rare, although version 1.0 has not arrived yet. You need to own Morrowind: GigaROM hosts neither the engine nor the game, and the download comes from the official page.
If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a console emulator: see emulators and its install and setup guide.
