A portable version of LEGO Island (1.1, English) based on the decompilation, aiming for platform independence without changing the game: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and more.
isle-portable is a portable version of LEGO Island (version 1.1, English) based on the decompilation project. Its primary goal is to transform the codebase to achieve platform independence and improve compatibility across systems, preserving the original game’s experience as faithfully as possible: it does not aim to change gameplay or rewrite code for improvement’s sake. It supports light modding through extensions.
The project has builds or ongoing work for Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD, DOS, the web, iOS, Android and several consoles. An existing copy of LEGO Island is required, and there is a guided installer. GigaROM hosts neither the port nor the game; the download comes from the official page.
If your computer does not meet the requirements, you do not have the exact version the port asks for, or you prefer the classic route, you can play the original with a console emulator: see emulators and its install and setup guide.
