What it is

SpaceCadetPinball is a reverse engineering of 3D Pinball for Windows – Space Cadet, the game bundled with Windows. You use it by placing the compiled executable in a folder containing the original game’s resources, which are not included, and it supports the data files from the Windows and Full Tilt versions.

The community has made ports for other platforms: PS Vita, Emscripten (to play online), Nintendo Switch, webOS TV and Android (in progress), among others. GigaROM hosts neither the program nor the game; the download comes from the official page.

What you need

Your original copy: The original 3D Pinball Space Cadet resources (Windows or Full Tilt). The project does not include game data.
  • Windows or macOS.
  • The original 3D Pinball Space Cadet resources (Windows or Full Tilt version).

How to install and run it

  1. Download the latest release from the official page (“Go to official project” button).
  2. Place the executable in a folder containing the original game’s files.
  3. Open it and play.

Current limitations

  • The original game’s resources are not included.
  • The latest published release is 2.1.0, from 2021.

Port or emulator?
