A ROM or ISO is a data file, not a program. If you receive an .exe, an installer or a file that asks for permissions, do not open it.
Scan every file before opening it, especially if it is compressed.
Look for the project's official website. Distrust "modified" builds or ones with added ads.
The third-party services we link to may show misleading advertising. Use the real download button and close pop-ups.
