Sonic Battle

Sonic Battle is a fighting game from Sonic Team for Game Boy Advance. Its story revolves around Emerl, a robot that Eggman discards after failing to activate it and that ends up being found by Sonic. As he meets the other characters, Emerl develops his personality while Eggman plans to reclaim him.

How It Plays

The story mode is told in chapters, one per character, and is the core of the game.

• Chapters per character: the story starts with Sonic and ends with Emerl; battles range from friendly warm-ups to serious fights.

• Skill cards: Emerl learns by defeating opponents and you can equip cards to customize his moveset and use other characters' abilities.

• Eight characters in the story: E-102 Gamma and Chaos are unlocked for Battle and Challenge modes after you defeat them in the story.
