Smashing Drive

Smashing Drive for Game Boy Advance is the adaptation of Gaelco's racing arcade game (2000). The goal is to get from one point of the city to another as fast as possible, weaving through traffic, while a rival taxi races you in every stage.

How It Plays

It is a frantic arcade racer built for short sessions.

• Boost and traffic: you can use the boost to blast through traffic at full speed.

• Ramps and wings: the car can glide off ramps thanks to built-in wings and even drive up the sides of buildings.

• Power-ups: Turbo Boost, Horn Blast, Electro-Shock and Glider.

• 3D graphics: it stands out as one of the few fully 3D racing games on the system, with a polygonal city that moves briskly.
