Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is the first Castlevania on Game Boy Advance and one of the games the console launched with. You play Nathan Graves, exploring Dracula's castle on a huge, interconnected metroidvania-style map.
Exploration opens up gradually: new abilities and equipment let you reach areas that were closed off before.
DSS (Dual Set-up System): enemies drop action and attribute cards; combining them gives different magical effects.
100 combinations: there are twenty cards in total, ten of each type, giving 100 possible combinations.
Interconnected castle: the map is explored back and forth, with shortcuts and secrets.
